Soft side only matters for tools: a soft-side stone wall can be dug through with about 2–3 jackhammers, 6 salvaged icepicks or 8 pickaxes, for zero sulfur. A dash means that explosive isn't listed for that target.
Base cost & upkeep
Rust charges 10% of build cost for your first 15 blocks, 15% for the next 50, 20% for the next 125 and 33.3% for the rest, then applies that blended rate to the whole base. Count your blocks to see what the base costs to build and what your TC eats per day.

Materials needed
Recipes are the in-game blueprint costs. Parts like rifle bodies, gears, road signs, sewing kits and tech trash are shown as-is, since you usually loot or recycle for them.

Type in how many of each component you have and see what the recycler gives back. Radtown recyclers (at monuments) give the full amount. Safe-zone recyclers at Outpost and Bandit Camp give about a third less.

Total draw
Solar panels make up to 20 power in full sun and nothing at night. Wind turbines make up to 150 depending on height and wind. Battery time assumes the battery powers everything alone.
Monument guide
Which keycards and fuses each puzzle monument needs, how much radiation to expect, and which card you walk out with. Pick the cards you have to see where you can go right now.
Details come from community guides and can vary with map updates. The room a card opens usually holds the next card up, so a green room gives a blue card and a blue room gives a red one. Red rooms hold the best crates. Cards can't be crafted; the red card is also sold at Bandit Camp.

Base alerts
Getting a ping on your phone when your base is being raided works through Rust+ and your in-game smart alarms. A web page can't stay connected to your Rust server, so this part needs a small program running on your PC, like the drops farmer.
What it would do
- Connect to your server through Rust+ (the same way the phone app does).
- Post to your Discord when a smart alarm trips, like "TC room alarm triggered".
- Report turret and switch status, and let you flip switches from Discord.
Before it can be built
- Pair your server in the Rust+ app (in game: Esc → Rust+ → Pair).
- Place smart alarms and pair them too.
- Set up a Discord webhook for the alerts.

About Tool Cupboard
A free Rust toolkit made by a Rust player, for Rust players.
Why it exists
Every wipe starts the same way: five browser tabs open, one for raid costs, one for recycler numbers, one for genes, one for the wipe time, and a Discord message full of sulfur math. Tool Cupboard puts all of it in one place that loads fast, works on your phone and is readable on a second monitor mid-raid.
The goal is simple: spend less time alt-tabbing and more time playing.

Clone breeder
Paste the genes of the clones you have. It tries every layout of up to 4 neighbors around a center plant and shows the best clone you can make, where to plant each one, and the odds.

Type genes into the squares around the center (leave empty squares blank). The result updates as you type.
How it's worked out: bad genes (W, X) weigh 1.0 and good genes (G, Y, H) weigh 0.6. For each of the 6 slots, matching neighbor genes add up, and the heaviest one replaces the center's gene only if it beats the center's own gene. Ties are a coin flip. Plant the neighbors first so they're grown when the center hits its crossbreed stage.
Farm timers
Start timers for crops, honeycomb, livestock or anything else. They keep counting if you close the page, and it dings when one finishes while the page is open.
Plant
Times are based on a pumpkin in perfect light, water and temperature. Other crops and worse conditions take a bit longer.
Honeycomb
A grade 3 nucleus makes about one comb every 6 minutes in good conditions. Grade 2 and 1 nuclei are faster, so lower the minutes if yours is upgraded.

Facepunch is testing cows, bulls, sheep, calves and lambs, with breeding, milk and wool. It isn't live yet, and no timings have been announced, so the minutes below are placeholder guesses. Change them once the update is out and they'll be remembered.

Pregnancy needs at least 60% condition. Wild animals can't breed, age or be milked or sheared. These details may change before release.
